Cody Gray - I wrote this for English 9. I think it is one of my best pieces of work because I actually had to learn it and didn’t know much about it before. I learned that there were a lot of literary devices that I did not know about. I thought that I pretty much had all of them down, but then she started talking about alliteration and words like that. I heard that and I was like “Whoa what is this? I don’t want to learn this.” I still am not a big fan of poetry, but I am glad I learned words like that so that I don’t sound bad in future classes.
